Karrie began her career in graphics at Texas Christian University, earning a BFA in communications graphics, then she headed east. 

She landed in the Tri-Cities area, at Target Marketing, rising quickly to Senior Graphics Designer, Art Director and finally Creative Director. Along the way she won Addy and other awards for her work. 

Karrie moved to Roanoke in 2001 and joined the The Kingma Agency that year. She moved quickly from Art Director to Creative Director. At Kingma she has marshaled projects for clients in a wide variety of fields. As you look through our site, you'll see her creative mark on projects for industrial clients, real estate, high technology, medicine and more.

Karrie brings a unique combination of sheer creative talent, strong communicator, and able project management to every project she touches, helping The Kingma Agency create powerful marketing campaigns on time, in budget, and right on target. 

In her time away from the pressure of constant deadlines and the craziness of marketing and creative work, Karrie likes to relax, often by quilting and reading.
